Although
the internet has a lot of information available, there's nothing like
a book which you can read when on holidays, at the beach, when getting
rid of #2, or just before dozing off.
From my
personal experience, these are some killer books. Although there are links
to Amazon, there is no affiliation here. They're just good books.

Great book on photographing portraits, and women in particular.
Even without Photoshop close by, you can follow the examples because
of the many photos that show you what is happening.
Just one thing; don't take the advice of limiting the 8-bit images
to 25-250 luminosity; that is something for printer drivers to deal
with. No point in losing more than 10% in your dynamics range. |
